Help Wanted
In January our fantastic Children’s Ministry Director, Michala Gallup (and her family), will move to Little Rock, Arkansas. Therefore, we are looking for someone replace her. Do you–or someone you know–love children and want to help their parents and our congregation love them in a way that will help them love Jesus? If so, contact Eugene C. Here’s a message from Michala which we’d like to pass on to you:
Hi there! I am a firm believer and product of the FACT that it takes a village to raise a child.
As I have evaluated this aspect in my own life I want to turn around and challenge you with the same question. What do you have to offer our children here at The NeighborhoodChurch? You might be an excellent teacher, grandma, gardener, cook, planner, actor, or maybe you have a great story about what God has done in your life. Maybe kids really aren’t your thing, that’s fine, you can still encourage their parents. You might know of some people in need who would be blessed by a visit, card or art. Whatever God has gifted or given to you, I challenge you to use for these kids! Children are always in need of role-models, mentors and even heroes. If everyone steps up we could have a group of well-rounded, respectful, deep and God-seeking kids. We just might impact the Kingdom for eternity!

Kids bring life, energy, creativity, movement, and-often-a fresh perspective on faith to any space they enter. At TNC we welcome and celebrate kids. We desire to help them experience and learn about Jesus while they teach us adults as well. We offer specific activities for all age children including an interactive kids’ message, a nursery, and kids’ church. The Neighborhood Kids meets Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.
